The Sacred Void

The sacred void occurs when our previous life no longer fits us.

When the universe is nudging and whispering “more” or “different.”

We may be terrified, but this void is calling us towards our deepest alignment, living to our values, and showing up in a new way.

We can feel a restlessness in our soul that is not because we are trying to run away or escape; but because our soul is demanding that we drop the mask.

This is when the foundation of our life begins to crumble, and we scramble to piece things together, only for it to crumble again.

This may not be by accident.

The friendships we’ve formed no longer encourage or inspire us. The degree that we spent years attaining doesn’t align to what we want now. The jobs we are in no longer represent what we want to do, but a version of ourselves that we used to be ‘acceptable.’

This does not mean that we have to throw out everything from our life and start from scratch: It means that we may be entering a phase of our lives when we are tailoring and refining what we truly want and need moving forward.

In this empty space, we have the opportunity to plant seeds where new life can grow.

We can take the time to align to our values, the type of life we want to live, and the people who are important to us.

This void of waiting, of things falling away before the new arrives; is the space where deep change can occur.

Use this time wisely.
